With over 10 years of combined experience in technology, education, design, and a passion for organization and problem solving, I've delivered award-winning design projects, resulting in reduced operational budgets and improved system efficiencies. In addition, I enjoy learning and consulting on diverse teams in a variety of business settings.
Similarly, as a creative developer with a genuine gift to teach, mentor, and inspire, I wish to continue disseminating the knowledge I have acquired over the years since nothing is more rewarding than observing peers, team members, and students reach their full potential.
Artist Statement:
I earned my BFA in graphic design from UMASS Dartmouth, Dartmouth, MA. A multifaceted professional, I have solved communications problems for many different profit and nonprofit organizations. My work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Ozzie, Gold, and gold and silver medals from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations for diverse and purposeful projects. I've taught graphic design, typography, and web design courses, and continue to volunteer and mentor.
"She is a mentor who facilitated the implementation of a now successful partnership between the UMass Amherst and the agency. I can say with great confidence that because of Jill's efforts I was able to both confirm my desire to begin a career in the service of others and also, successfully gain admission into a competitive Doctor of Psychology program." - J Burke, Intern
